About: Matthew is a precious little 6-year-old boy fighting for his life against Stage IV High Risk Neuroblastoma. It was discovered that Matthew had a 13cm mass in his abdomen and the cancer had already spread to his bone marrow. Neuroblastoma is one of the most challenging types of cancer to treat, BUT there is possibility of a cure. Fighting with everything they have, Matthew just underwent surgery to (hopefully) remove the mass. They are awaiting results and planning for the next stage of treatment. Their fight is far from over. Matthew’s mom asks that everyone, “…keep the prayers coming for a speedy recovery and for Matthew to continue fighting like the Superhero that he is.”

Special Treat: Matthew is our Sam’s Kid selected for the month of February 2018. He has been wanting to visit the Orlando Eye, so he can “see things while being high up in the air.” He has also wanted to visit their aquarium. We were able to provide tickets to both for him and his family, along with a Gift Card to Wawa to help with the travel expenses.
